*About Parabolē Productions*

Parabolē Productions is a Reading based, Theatre Company coming from
Parkside SDA Community Fellowship. The company has been producing and
performing original drama for the past 5 years. The name Parabolē is the
Greek word for Parables and really captures the essence of our ministry;
using life stories to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to our 21st century.
We use contemporary and ancient settings to show that the word of God is
still relevant in our lives today.

*About Don't Count Me Out!*

Mike is a young man in a regular family facing the usual family challenges.
That world is violently turned upside down when Mike is involved in a near
fatal road traffic accident. *Don't Count Me Out!* follows the journey of
family and friends as they, and he, cope in the aftermath. Will Mike's
accident bring them closer together, or tear them apart?

Speaking about the production, Director Derek Lindo says "Our aim is to
entertain as well as inform. We hope to raise awareness of issues around
disability, confront and challenge some commonly held misconceptions and
show that we are all special and valued in God's eyes"

Hope to see you there!
