The Big Give is a website that helps individuals and businesses give to charity.
You might think, people don’t need help picking who they want to give money too, but stop and think about businesses or school projects that would like to give money as part of a school fund raising effort or as part of a business community involvement scheme.
These schools or businesses need to know that the charity they give to meets their aims and goals, and indeed shares their values.
The Big Give website is where individuals, schools and businesses can search for, find and read about charities that match their giving intentions.
Recently ASNA has been added to the list of charities that are listed on the Big Give, in fact follow this link to go directly to the ASNA page
individuals can leave a legacy in their will, so on their death a prescribed sum from their estate will be given to ASNA, you can make a will yourself and The Big Give have instructions here.
While we certainly don’t mean to come across all morbid, life is for living right, if you don’t make a will the tax man will get it, so worth considering making a legacy in your will for ASNA, and if you do, contact us and tell us about yourself, we would like to hear from you and you can be friends with ASNA.
If you are a member of your school PTA (Parent Teacher Association) consider suggesting to your school that when they fundraise for a charity, they raise money for ASNA, it will certainly help bring focus to the Schools special needs department and ASNA can even come and give a presentation or provide supporting information if needed, get in touch if you want to discuss.
Of course not only can schools raise money but pathfinder, cub, scout and brownie groups too, if your organisation is considering fund raising, get in touch for more details.
Finally The Big Give website will act as an intermediary if you would like to give money to ASNA but would prefer to do it anonymously!
