About the Event

Creating Days of Belonging Sabbaths are local church (or faith based places of worship) training programmes proving safe spaces for conversations around belonging for people with diverse needs. The programme aims to highlight the theological foundations of the humanness (based on the imago Dei - Genesis 1:26,27), provides practical implications of addressing unconscious bias or other factors that create barriers for the inclusion of people with disabilities and other diverse needs. The programme seeks to go beyond inclusion to belonging.

Click the RSVP link or turn up. There is room for everyone interested in this area of ministry.

The morning will look at the theological basis of belonging presented by Elder Tony Clairmont and the afternoon will be an interactive experience addressing disability awareness, communication barriers and opportunities for effecting positive change.
